I think many of these same resturants are ones that you can get free coupons for in the little coupon booklets you find all around Orlando. I would just wait until you get there and pick some of these booklets up.

We have been to the Pirate dinner show. It was several years ago but it was pretty good food....not great but pretty good.......the show was nice though. If you can get half off or better that would be good. Most of the coupon books that are all around Orlando don't give much of a price break. Some just give free drink or maybe $6 off. You might do better with Restaurants.com. If you hav ot already post this on the restaurant board and maybe more of those rest. have been tried.

We went to LePeeps with a restaurant.com certificate. It was okay. Nothing spectacular. A wide variety with decent prices. It was busy the time we were there. I probably wouldn't go back, because it wasn't anything to rave about, but it was okay. It probably didn't help that we used a few others that we really liked. Unfortunately, the others don't offer restaurant.com certificates any more. As far as dinner shows go, we attended Arabian Nights. It was very good and we were able to get half price tickets off ticketmania.com. Debby

Cariera's Cucina Italiana
Barney's Steak & Seafood

I have done both of these, and I regularly buy the coupon for Cariera's (which is about 5 miles from my house).

Cariera's is fantastic, the lasagna serving is the size of a BRICK! It's casual, relaxed, has a bar area and regular table service seating and an outdoor patio (I think they have a singer outside on Friday nights). Prices are very reasonable and the $25 coupon in unbelievable! Now, it's east of the airport, and if you take the Greenway from Disney property, head east, after the Airport Exit (Boggy Creek Road) the next exit is Narcossee Road, get off there, make a left and it's 1-mile north on the right side in a Publix Shopping Center, about a 30-minute ride from Disney and a couple tolls ($2+) but well worth it.

Barney's is near downtown Orlando, we did this in May for my birthday, they have steaks and seafood and a nice salad bar. Very nice atmosphere with a piano player in the main dining room each night. I can't tell you how to get there from Disney property, I would do it again, but Cariera's is a once a month (at least) dining experience.
