I have never used these before. Well I just purchased 2, for a restaurant that is near a beach cabin we are staying at for spring break. I didn't know, but after I printed it, it says you can only use 1 per month (we will only be there for 5 days). So my question is can I give the other one to someone else, or is this not allowed?

I would think that if you used it one day and your break company used it another, there shouldn't be a problem. I think I would make a call to the place of business. You could always say that you bought one for you and one for your friend, so each of you got cards, and therefor, technically each of you is using a card once.

The fine print is a bugger.

I've given my restaurant.com gc to my daughter before to use without a problem...so, giving it to another person, shouldn't be an issue. The question becomes, how do they know whether two certificates bought by the same person are used in the same month? Maybe when they go to redeem it by the redemption code, they know that one has already been used in a month? What if you kept one for yourself and gave one away as gift? How could you possibly coordinate the usage then? I'd call and ask the restaurant directly.

That's the problem I have with restaurant.com. There is a lot of fine print/restrictions plus I've had restaurants close down on me. Restaurant.com has gotten a lot better about notifying you if this happens.

A friend and I used them on back to back days and didn't have a problem. I've also had them allow alcohol in the minimum when it was in the fine print not to allow that. It might depend on the restaurant you are using and how much of a stickler they are for the fine print. If you purchased them on sale, you are only out a couple of bucks if they don't let you use them. I've never had a problem with them.

I'd say that it depends on the restaurant. We had a really awful experience with Restaurant.com before, where I wanted to order off the children's menu (most restaurants will let you order off a children's menu and just charge it as an adult entrée), and they refused to do so. None of the other food on their menu was vegetarian and they refused to leave ingredients out (such as leaving the chicken off the salad, etc.) to make it vegetarian.. so DH ate his meal and I just watched..
