restaurant.com coupon

I think I figured it out, that you spend about $22, including tax & 18% tip for your meal if you hit just at the $35 minimum, assuming you get the cert for $2.

Restaraunt.com is also on My Coke Rewards ($25 or $50 restaurant.com GC). Could be a waste of points if you can snag HOB during one of the 80% off sales. But if you don't want to chance missing HOB during a restaurant sale it's another option.

Just a FYI...many restaurants restrict how often you can use these coupons. I think one a month, so you would not be able to use more than one per trip. (unless you were staying more than a month, of course, lol)

My friend and her family bought two and used them two days in a row. We bought one and used it on our trip. While it seems like a great deal, after all said and done, we still ended up paying a ton after tax and the 18% gratuity. We will not be using it again. We all had water, our two kids had kids meals, and my DH and I each selected lower priced entree's and our bill after the gc was still over $40. I felt like we could have eaten for less somewhere else.

I actually used the "ENJOY" code (70%) and I was given a $10 coupon for shoes.com (you choose from a few stores) and a $10 Resaurant.com gift certificate.

We have gone to HoB in Orando and thought it was pretty good - not sure about the DLR one though. We have 7 ppl going so I got the $50, you have to spend $100 but that should not be too hard with so many of us. From the menus (and what I have read) the DLR restaurants are not a must do for us so I figured this would be a good sit down option.

When I use them I just figure Im going to be eating there anyways.. so if it saves money why not.. IDK if I would get them just to be able to afford a nicer resturant and still pay a lot lol

So, I just ordered 4 for House of Blues for $2 a piece. 2 for us and 2 for our friends. Fine print states that 1 certificate may be redeemed per party, per month, per restaurant, even if the party is seated at separate tables and or receives more than 1 check. I wish I would have read this before I ordered them. Didn't see this information anywhere on the website. The only good thing is it never expires.

But couldn't someone else in the party use it? I have gotten them before for a couple places where I live and they have never asked to see anything other then the coupon..???

Look at the restrictions...one per table. Of course you can always go and act like you don't know each other. :thumbsup2

They use your name so I don't think your friend can use them. Each coupon has an individual ID number under the name it was purchased.

There is a way to gift a coupon on the site though. I don't know if you can do this after purchase though.

Your friend can use them, they just have to say they received it as a gift and yes, you will have to sit apart and pretend you don't know each other. The restrictions are listed on each certificate prior to purchasing but if you aren't happy then contact rest.com and ask them to cancel 3 of them and you may be able to get a credit on your rest.com acct for $6.

That is good to know. I thought I read the restrictions before purchasing, but the only thing I could find was the minimum purchase. We were planning to just use them a couple of nights when we are there. With the 1 a month rule that kind of rules out using them 2 nights in a row. Oh well, live and learn. Just glad we only paid $8 and not $40.

Too bad you aren't going over 2 months...lol You know like Jan 30 to Feb 5, that would work perfectly. :)

If anyone is interested in eating at the House of Blues in downtown disney I just got an awesome coupon from restaurant.com. You will have to sign up first. They sent me a promo code for an additional 80% off! They were selling $25 giftcards for $10. Well...with the 80% off promo code that brought my total to $2 for my $25 dollar card. You have to spend $35 to get to use it, but that will be easy for us. After you check out you print it out and take it to the restaurant with you.

I did the same thing at the House of Blues in downtown disney in orlando. Had no issues at all.

ive done the $25 off $35 coupon.. it works well!
