Any here used these? I'm wondering what their requirements are & how strict they are. The certificate doesn't state 1 per table or party, but you never know what the restaurant's policy will be. TIA :thanks:

Per the rules stated on restaurant.com it's one per table. You have to spend $10 before applying the coupon. They're accepted for alcoholic beverages "at the discretion of the restaurant" so that'll be up to House of Blues.

Thanks for the fast reply. I somehow missed the one per table rule. I guess I didn't read it closely enough. We only have to spend $35 to use the $25 certificate, right?

Yes, they say the minimum you have to spend in cash is $10, so if you can get by with $35 or less for your whole table, all you'll shell out is the $10.

Don't forget that there's an 18% gratuity added to the total before the certificate is applied. Also, it is not valid for the Gospel Brunch on holidays or special events.

You won't see the one cert per table until you actually buy the cert and read through the long list of conditions. Not all of the conditions are listed on the page where you add it to your cart.

I saw these on restaurant.com this morning and exchanged one of our generic certs for a $25 cert. We have been disappointed the last couple of times at HOB, will give them another shot now that we have $25 off.

I've used probably 20 Restaurant.com certificates and have Never had a problem with them. I've used them in Vegas and in Michigan, and they've all let me use them on alcohol, even though the fine print says its up to each individual restaurant to decide whether or not it's included. I definitely recommend the certificates, however, I've never been a huge fan of HoB!

We used the coupon 2 weeks ago and it worked as advertised. Alcohol included..

It also can't be used for the Gospel Brunch. On the HoB topic, how long in advance should you make a ressie? It's on my ADR list. Can you do it at 180 days or is it one of the few 90 day ones?

It can be used for gospel brunch, just not for the brund on holidays or during special events.

Cannot be used for Gospel Brunch on Holidays or Special Events .

If you are just going to House of Blues to dine, I don't think an ADR is necessary. A reservation would be needed for the brunch, but it would be best to make that directly with the restaurant by calling (407) 934–BLUE.

I would hope they didn't leave out a comma and it should have read "for the Gospel Brunch, on holidays, or special events." If I were intending to use these coupons on the Gospel Brunch, I'd call HOB first and make sure I could use them.

I think you can make HOB reservations through Disney at 180 days but with some of the non-Disney-operated restaurants you can't do 180 + 10.

I agree. The gospel brunch is actually held in the concert hall. It is quite possible they left out a comma, best to check with the box office when you reserve your spot for the brunch.

Yeah...just went online and got another HOB coupon for $2.50. The expiration date is 1 yr from date of purchase...so we have packed it away with our WDW stuff for next Sept.:thumbsup2
Been there, done that, it's a great deal!

Did you get it for 2.50 or 12.50? I went online and it is 12.50. Is it common to have restaurants in Disney show up on restaurant.com?? Or is this far from many of the resorts and inconvienent to get to??

wow, that is really good. Is it a $25 g.c.? my mil says that at the end of the month the prices go down but not sure if it is on the whole month or only for a limited amount of gift cards.

House of Blues is in Downtown Disney. Easy to get to by car or Disney bus or boat, depending on where you are staying. We stay at POFQ and take the boat.

Check retailmenot.com for current discount codes. I think CHOW is the one going for 80% off right now.

Glad someone had some luck using the certificate. We bought one just so we can try somewhere new for our next trip. HoB hasn't ever really appealed to me, but with the certificate, it's worth a try!
