Restaurant.com Certificates @ House of Blues

Just curious, are the Restaurant.com certificates available for use throughout Disney at all, or just primarily DTD? My mother buys them all the time and she thought about buying some for us on our upcoming trip, just want to know if it is worth it.

Thanks in advance for any advice

The first time I have ever seen any for disney was the House of Blues one listed last month.

You can find plenty of off site places.

You will likely not find these for any Disney-owned restaurants.

If you are staying offsite, you may get some use out of them. But for on property dining, they won't be very good as HOB is the only restaurant onsite that is on Restaurant.com.

We have TIW, DVC discounts and AP discounts....can I use any of these and then use the gift certificate to pay?

I have a couple of these certificates. Looked on one and it reads:

"Restaurant-specific gift certificates cannot be combined with any other restaurant certificates, third-party certificates, Restaurant.com certificates, coupons, or promotions."

So, you probably can't combine it with any other discount. Remember you have to spend $10 to use this certificate, and an automatic gratuity is added.

Unfortunately not. Per the T&C:

Restaurant-Specific Gift Certificates cannot be combined with other restaurant certificates, third party certificates, Restaurant.com Certificates, coupons, or promotions.

The TIW would constitute another offer or promotion and couldn't be combined with the Restaurant.com certificate. I would assume the same would go for AAA or Annual Pass discount. Though it would never hurt to ask at the restaurant.

The Restaurant.com Certificates are more less coupons than gift certificates. Though the value is taxed in Florida as if they are a gift certificate rather than a coupon. You will pay tax on the $25 value, where if you had a $25 off coupon, that wouldn't be taxed. Kinda sucks.

DISH worked for me a few days ago and it was 80 % off. Not sure if it is expired yet, though.
edited to add: I think it may have expired yesterday, 4/11, sorry.
