I need one more restaurant to eat at with 5 kids...
we already have lunch planned at Biergarten on another day...but need another Epcot sitdown restaurant choice for another night (dinner)....either showcase or futureworld side nothing too expensive...

thanks

We usually choose the Garden Grill (which is closed right now but may open for you dependign upon when you go.). Rotating Restaurant(!), they will keep bringing you refills and skip items you don't like, characters (or are they only at lunch) and the veggies are good.

The Seas is very good food but expensive.

We've found the Mexican to be hit or miss. The Norway folks had a pretty good mix but if you aren't adventurous you might miss out.

We love Le Cellier!! We've only been for lunch though and it's reasonable....it's a little pricier for dinner....can you do a late lunch/early dinner? We also really like Chefs de France....been there twice for dinner and we were pleased. Good food, nice atmosphere (not too formal) and reasonably priced....

DH and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Le Cellier. The Prime Rib over Risotto is GREAT! Any restaurant in Epcot's Showcase is going to be more than eating at one of the other parks (with the exception of Brown Derby) but most are well worth it. We also like San Angel Inn, Teppanyaki, and Alfredo's. Although, in our opinion, Alfredo's has gone down hill in the quality, quantity, and service. But I love their Fettucini Alfredo.

We LOVE Le Cellier. The pretzel bread is delicious! My mom and I split the herb crusted prime rib with a veal demi glace (a sauce) and roasted potatoes. It was so delicious and my mom couldn't stop raving about it. My dad had the freerange chicken which came with cream cheese mashed pototoes and an onion broth. It was crispy on the outside and moist in the inside. He loved it and said it was the best chicken he had ever had. We didn't have room for dessert but the desserts looked SO delicious. We're definately getting dessert next time! The service was amazing and we can't wait to go back. I highly recommend eating at Le Cellier, you'll love it! :goodvibes

Marrakesh is wonderful and unique, the atmosphere is great, the service was wonderful, they have a belly dancer and band to entertain, and the food is yummy! Moroccan food is delicious and exotic without being too odd for most tastes.

Your message states that you have 5 kids and need somewhere to eat at Epcot that isn't too expensive. My suggestion is to try counter service in the World Showcase. There's some yummy food for reasonable prices. You could try different countries. My favorite is the Tangerine Cafe in Morroco. You get quite a bit of food there for the prices. We had a lovely dinner last month while listening to Mo Rockin - and watching the belly dancer! check out menus here:

(P.S. remember to check out ice station cool near Test Track for free sodas!)

Our family really loves Rose and Crown and we eat there every trip we make. Why not go to Debs site http://www.allearsnet.com/ and look at the menues there and make your choice from that?
Most resturants will let you split adult meals and all the resturants have kids menue options. Have you thought about having a sitdown meal for lunch, much cheaper, many of the same things offered for dinner.
Another option might be to go over to the boardwalk and try ESPN club or go over to Beaches and Cream.
The menues for these are on Deb's site also.

Mexico has such NEAT theming!!! My dd LOVES it!! And, if the kids get a little restless waiting for food, one parent can take them to ride the boat ride while the other parent takes a picture of them doing so.

Plus, Mexico is one of the least expensive sit-down restaurants in WS (besides being our sentimental favorite). Also, the appetizers are often enough for me to eat for dinner (I highly recommend the "tradtional sopa" for a lighter dinner....I don't know what they season their shredded chicken with...but, it is SOOOOO good), reducing the cost even further. I only drink water (yes, even WDW's yucky water) and the sopa is $6-7 dollars....it is PLENTY for me to eat for dinner, so I get a WONDERFUL atmosphere with amazing food for less than $10....a real bargain for WDW.

And, now that AP holders can get the DDE card....you can get 20% off, which makes Mexico an even bigger bargain!!

Plus, when it is really bright outside...it is so much fun to just sit in the cool darkness.

Okay....I just LOVE that place!!!!! :goodvibes
