restaurant before wishes cruise?

Hi

our group (20 of us) will be going on the grand gathering wishes cruise and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good restaurant to eat at that would be close to the contemporary hotel so we arent rushing to make the boat? i appreciate any ideas.

How about Chef Mickey's? You would need to make reservations well in advance. Otherwise, any monorail resort or Wilderness Lodge would do. (although I don't know if you can still hop a boat from WL to the contemporary).

If you don't want a character meal (Chef Mickeys) you can go right next door from CM and go to the Concourse Steakhouse. The food was very good and it might be a little less crazy for a big party of people like you will have.

Like the above post said...any monorail resort resturant would be easy enough.

Just to clarify, Cape May and Spoodles are over in the Epcot resort area. I think byoung thought you were going on an illuminations cruise.

Also, the monorail resorts are the Polynesian, Contemporary, Grand Floridian. It would be very easy to hop the monorail and be to the Contemporary in just a few minutes.

I think the Grand Gathering people still refer you to Group Dining to make reservations for a large group (but I would still call the GG line first). They can help you with location and availability. Enjoy!
