It's been a long time since we ate at the Castle. Last time we were there it was a menu based restuarant but we understand that it is now a buffet.

Has anyone eaten there? What are the buffet items? Was it worth the price?
We are going in July for our 10th Anniversary and had planned to eat at the Castle, but now that it's a buffet, I'm not sure it's a great idea.

Thanks for your thoughts

Bob

We at at CRT for both breakfast and lunch over Christmas/NY and it was TS both times...worth the price??? That is up to you!

Akershaus/PSB (Norway, Epcot) also has princesses and I believe they may have buffets...they have an appetizer buffet at lunch.

I say it isn't worth it and I have a 4-year-old princess!

Mind you when I said that at the restaurant the waitress gave us an extra wand and sword - after all DH and I paid more to be there!

Cinderella Castle is not a buffet. The Norway Castle is a buffet. Only you can determine what is worth it to you, as everyone has different opinions. I would look at the menus on allears.net to determine if they have food that fits your taste. Have a wonderful trip!

That's very odd. We are DVC members staying at the AKV Concierge level and the when I was talking to the conceirge about ADR's he seemed to think (unless I heard wrong) that we had to pre-pay for dinner at Cinderella Castle and that it was a buffet.

I'll have to call back and clarify that one I guess.

Thank you

Characters at breakfast and lunch - yes
Buffet - no

Just got back yesterday and did CRT for dinner.
Have 2 dd's and I think we all enjoyed it. I did find it to be a little rushed here is your food eat it as quick as possible and get out (none of this was said but it is the impression you get) - however the food was better than I expected it to be!!
The mice and the fairy godmother did a very good job in circulating around the restaurant and IMHO it is an experience not to be missed. The dd's loved being called princesses!!

Choice of 3 starters, 4 entrees and 3 deserts. Childrens menu a little limited.

Which entrees and starters did you order, Ela ? And how were they ?

Slight clarification on the character appearances - at breakfast and lunch they circulate the room, visiting each table for autographs and pictures and such; at dinner there is a show but they do not visit each table individually.
