Thanks to those of you who have already sent some links. As mentioned in a broad earlier post we are going to return after about 10+ years this winter. we used to go all the time and we’re absolutely expert planners thanks to boards like this. Now I feel like I am starting high school physics all over again, so much as changed. Thanks in advance, am going to start with some basic questions:

1. What’s with the park reservation system? Is this permanent? As mentioned we are older adults, no kids or grandkids. Our favorite thing to do in the past is Park hop, usually at least two, maybe 3 per day. But now I can do one early and I can’t do another until after 2 p.m.? and I need to reserve? Confused.

2. We will probably go February to early March—whatever dates we can find that have lower crowds. But we can go anytime in 2023 except mid March for a few days and July/August. I know from years past the Run is early in the year and Spring Breach usually starts around mid-March? Suggestions?

3. No annual passes anymore? Is this permanent? We are not residents of Florida But used to get these for the discounted hotel rates and free parking as well as other perks.

I will post questions on staying on the hotel section. For now, thanks for helping an oldie coming back to what seems like a brand new world.

1. Disney says the reservation system is here to stay. You only reserve one park, and before you can hop, you must enter the reserved park. Then if you have park hoppers, you can hop to whatever parks you want after 2pm (no reservation needed).

2. I recommend avoiding the week that includes President's Day. Any other week in February or the first week of March ought to be good.

Thanks we’re now also considering late January after MLK holiday. We talked tonight and realized the park reservation and 2 pm thing probably isn’t a problem because we generally do morning through lunch at one park before we head back to room, reorganize and then head out again for dinner. Slowly getting this stuff researched, thanks for help.
