Rest of MGM busy during Star Wars

Hi everybody, I was just wondering how the rest of the Studios are during the Star Wars Weekend. Unfortunetly, we will be there on a Saturday (EMH) during the Star Wars Weekend. I'm hoping that lots of people will flock towards that area and take part in the events.

How Busy is it going to be

It has been my experience that MGM handles big crowds worse than any of the 4 main parks at WDW.That said I was at MGM during a Star Wars weekend and many were drawn to character and star meet and photo opp's.I would say arrive early use fast pass and you will be fine.Have a magical visit to WDW

thank you very much Danny1649 for your thoughts. I don't really have any idea what to expect with all of the stuff (EMH, Star Wars, May, etc) in a mix together.


Anyone else have any suggestions or thoughts?

I have been to MGM three or four different times on Star Wars Weekend. I always go the WDW the same time of year, and for some reason, I end up at MGM on Star Wars Weekend. (I forget it is going on when I do my planning, lol) I have never noticed huge crowds, except in the area of the Star War Characters. It was usually congested there and sometimes a little hard to walk through - if you avoid this area like we do you should be fine. Have a great trip.

We went last year during Star Wars Weekends and it didn't seem to affect crowds much except in the vicinity of Star Tours.

Apparently it's the same week each time because this will be my second Star Wars Weekend and I don't even care for Star Wars! That said, my kids found it pretty cool and I didn't find the crowd to be a problem last time.
