we are getting 10 day park passes and making ressies for the parks restaurants on those 10 days. we also have 6 rest days. 2 will be resort hopping and dining. what about the other 4? i was thinking 1 day we could go to beaches and cream. any other cool places to take the fam on rest days (no parks)

There are some neat places on Boardwalk and Downtown Disney is a fun place to spend the day eating and shopping if you have time:thumbsup2

The boardwalk as PP mentioned is a good one, also I'd include eating at AKL one evening and incorporate some of the resort activities into the visit. Many find Raglan Road to be fun as well.

Mini golf at Fantasia Gardens followed by a meal at one of the Swan/Dolphin restaurants. Il Mulino. bluezoo. Shula's. Kimono's. Or a Boardwalk restaurant like Kouzzina, Flying Fish or Cape May.

I know you didn't ask about this, but I just wanted to make sure that you know that your tickets are only good for 14 days from first use. It sounds like you have a 16 day trip. If you don't go to a park on your arrival or departure day then you should be fine but if you go on your arrival day then you won't have any entrances left for the day before your trip ends.

Have you considered adding the WP&M option to your tickets? This will give you 10 entrances to BB, TL and DQ.

Some other options would include boat rentals, mini golf, bike rentals, dinner shows and DTD. My family actually enjoys just staying at our own resort and spending most of the day in the pool, even in the winter (we'll go in the water as long as the temperature is above freezing; they really do heat those pools quite warm).

ESPN Club is a family favorite, brings back great memories-Boardwalk is so pretty and food is great.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe-beautiful seating/atmosphere, great food-Iron Chef

thank you so much for pointing that out! i have our first day at the parks as Dec 12 and last day on the 27th. crap....im over by a few days!

If you do go to B&C, try to hit it up early for lunch. That place gets crowded quick since it's so small so there could be a long wait by the time you get there.
