Can you make ADR for 2 people without being on the dining plan? My 180th day is soon, I have a friend who may or may not join me. But I want to get my choices ASAP.

Yes, you can make your ADRs & later decide to add the DDP if you choose. Earlier this evening I just made all of my ADRs for our upcoming May trip & the CM on the phone didn't even ask me if we'll be on the DDP...which is something that they have for our past trips. We will be on the plan, we're just going to add it closer to our trip.
