Ressie Address for International Family

I have ressies for us and some international family staying on a separate ressie that I've made for them. Should I put my home address on their ressie so that we can receive their wrist bands for them? They will be with us and I doubt Disney will ship them to Eastern Europe. Or will they pick up wrist bands at the park?
 
The mailing address for MagicBands can be changed during the customization process in MDE.
 
If the MBs are not shipped to any address. They will receive the gray ones upon check-in.

Not necessarily.

You can add them to your family & friends list and then link their room reservation. If you do this, you will not be able to delete from your family & friends list once the MagicBands are associated with them.

I do, however, feel it's better for each distinct family unit to have their own MDE account. This would allow each family unit to manage any plans that would specific to just that family (separate trips for example).

Once there is a MagicBand or Admission Card (aka park admission) linked to them, you won't be able to delete them. If you want to remove them from your F&F list, Disney IT would have to do that. If you edit their F&F entry, there will be a 'MagicBands & Cards' section and a 'Reservations' section. If any of those have a non-zero value, you won't be able to delete the profile.

Nothing other than Disney may send out the occasional postal mailing in their name to your address.
 
So if I want them to have colored coded bands, is the only way to create an MDE account for them? And will doing that mess up our currently linked restaurant ressies?

And one more question - can I change which rooms are under our names versus our guests names at check in?

You can get them now based on your current setup if you link the room and customize the MagicBands. It's just you would need to get Disney IT involved if you want to decide you want to delete them from your F&F list after the trip.

The restaurant only gets the primary persons name and number of guests. The profile 'linking' for ADRs is just so that ADR shows up in the plans of connected F&F. You can also modify the guests on a ADR using the MDE website, but it does not change anything about the actual ADR.

This is incorrect.... they can preselect just as you would mailing them and the selected customized bands will be waiting for them at the resort. We have gotten 2 sets this way this past year as they won't ship out of the USA.

This is not correct. As long as you customize in MDE before the cutoff time, they will receive the color bands when they check in. Even with the customized name, have fun with them.
If you dont customize you get the grey doesnt matter if you have them shipped or not.
