Further to my post about upgrading or extending the stay or adding meal plans to the booking for our holiday as it's now included in the flash sale. This is their response

Now after reading posts on here, I know that some of you have managed to upgrade etc to benefit from sale prices so I can only assume that the policy has changed, so it looks like the best bet is to wait until you think the price is at its absolute best if you can be flexible with your booking

"When you made your booking in june over the phone, we advise you of the best offer we had, at that moment. It does happen that latter on some other offer comes up. We don't know in advance what will be the next offer or the availability we can't advise you to wait to make your booking and take the risk to miss the offer or even might not have anymore availability.

All new offer can only be apply for new booking. That is why we can not change your booking. You will have to cancel your booking with the regular fees and make a new booking with the offer if this one is still available.

We are sorry that you are disappointed with Disney but as explain we don't know in advance what will be the offer or the availability in the future. We can only advise you to make the booking to make sure you have the room and the offer available. "

This is what quite a lot of people have had to do in the past - cancel their booking and make a new one to get the new offers. Its a matter of doing the sums as people have found that even after the cancellation fee they still end up with a cheaper holiday
