We will be traveling with our 19yo daughter and 16yo son this fall to visit our older son who is doing the Disney CP. Which resorts would give at least 3 places to sleep - 2 beds and a pullout sofa, Murphy bed or sleeper chair? We know the DVC options. Wondering more about other resorts. Thank you!

CBR and POR have rooms with 2 Queens and a Murphy Bed. Most of the Deluxes have rooms with 2 Queens and a Day Bed. I think the only ones that don't are WL and AKL.

Just want to note that the Murphy beds are pretty small, so unless one of your kids is small, that’s not likely to be a good choice for you.

Another option would be to bring a blow up mattress.

The cabins at fort wilderness have a queen, a pull out sofa, and a bunk bed.

And art of animation suites have 1 queen, 1 Murphy bed, and 1 pull out couch. All star music suites have a bed, a pull out chair, and pull out couch.

AOA Suite also has two separate
full Bathrooms , one private bedroom, living room couch/bed, eating area makes into bed

Just a side note, the murphy bed at AoA suites are full size beds. They're not the same "small" murphy beds which POR and CBR have.

Murphy beds at POR are designed for children 9 and under or tiny adults.

I don’t believe they have a weight limit but I think it’s for children nine and under. I feel like anybody bigger than about 65 to 70 pounds it would be pretty uncomfortable

The murphy beds at the non-DVC resorts are about 5'6" long and about 3' wide. The DVC murphy beds are a bit longer. Bunk beds at WL and AKL are the same size as the DVC murphy beds.

I have boy and girl teens and need 3 sleeping spaces too. We have stayed at a lot of resorts, including the Poly, Beach Club, and FW cabins. For pure comfort, my kids preferred the setup at AoA. The pull out and murphy bed are very comfortable, and the extra bathroom and TV were much appreciated.

We had a room at Yacht Club with a queen bed, a day bed and a pull out chair. I loved the room, there was so much floor space. The day bed is probably fine for a teenager, but I am not sure about the pull out. We put our 4 year old on it.

This room type might be worth looking into further. We had a standard view room, so it was the least expensive category. I made the room configuration my only request.

The DVC studios with 3 sleep surfaces are pretty much gone for fall. You said you know about them; unless one is popping up for cash, they're gone.

When my boys and I stayed at POR last summer I slept on the murphy bed. I am 5'2" and while I won't divulge my weight it is more than 100 lbs. LOL
It was comfortable enough but I am not picky and can pretty much sleep anywhere if I am tired enough.

We are a family of five and the room that was the biggest was the Boardwalk. There was so much floor space so it felt we had more space. POR seemed very crowded. We have also stayed in a family suite at All-Star Music. My SIL stayed with us and slept on the pull-out couch and said it was fine.

Thanks for posting your experience! I would have my 10 year old sleep on the bunk and she's almost 5 ft now. I figured she would be fine. My kids are NOT people anyone wants to share a bed with. I shared with the 10 year old recently and woke up because I couldn't breath. She was laying across my face!
