Resorts/trips listed in your signature, post here

I try to remember a trip is what you make of it (mostly). We love the values we have stayed at!!

As you can see, we're hooked on deluxes. We'll be back at the Beach Club 5/14 through 5/21, 2008.

here are the resorts we have stayed at so far. Only deluxe so far for us. Ft. Wilderness was when I was 6. I would never camp, just not my thing.

I've stayed in all levels, depending on what our budget is at that time. Each one is great in their own way. :)

We'd love to go back to the Polynesian, with it's theming, restaurants, and the monorail to our favorite parks (MK #1, Epcot #2). But we just can't justify spending that much on a room. We certainly would never do offsite again. There are just too many advantages to staying onsite.

The Portofino trip was for business. It was nice, but I'd never pay to stay at Universal.

As you can see, we're CBR fans, but the Poly is a favorite too! Can't wait to go back!!:cool1:

I don't think once you stay value you always stay value. I think once you stay onsite you always stay on site. I really think each resort has it's own feeling and they are each so different. I'd love to try to stay at them all... someday, right? :goodvibes Maybe if we STOP staying at the CBR!!:lmao:

Here's mine. Several of the Contemporary trips were because I had my 83 year old parents with me, and that's the resort that works best for them. It's also my favorite. The CBR trip was a two day trip with me, DH and DD21. We weren't very comfy in the full size bed, mostly because DH is more than a full size kind of guy.;) And CBR is listed last because I listed all the CR trips in one lump, and the CBR trip was the last one we took anyway.

I personally wouldn't mind spending the night in a sleeping bag on the side of I-4 if it meant a Disney trip. DH, however, was less than thrilled with our stays at the values... So we bought into DVC :D Much much nicer than my highway-sleeping bag idea :D

You know we've stayed offsite. We're staying at WL this time because our kids are little and we expect to spend a lot of time at the resort. Now I'm easily spolied so its conceivable that we will stay at a Deluxe resort on subsequent trips but the practical side of me says that as the kids get older and we spend less time at the hotels that a moderate will probably do. Never going to stay value (as I said I'm easily spoiled. :rotfl:)

Here's mine.

We started out in a value - Pop, 3 times.
Then tried a mod.
Next, only Deluxe, & that's where we're staying!! :cool1:

here is my list. What you said about staying on-site vs off-site is true for us...I will never stay off-site again! But we started off at the values (except for that one adventure to CBR...) and will only do mod's from now on. The peace and quiet is SOO worth it :cloud9:

We've gone from Values to Deluxes to Moderates to Deluxes and back to Values with no issues. For us, it's mainly how much time we're spending in the parks. If we're spending a lot of time, we go value or moderate. If we're spending more time at the resorts, we go deluxe.

Disney service has been wonderful for us no matter what hotel category we've stayed in. :thumbsup2

I've never stayed in a value... only deluxes and in three weeks a mod. Next trip, I really wanna try POP.

On-site we have stayed at Coronado Springs, Port Orleans Riverside, Shades of Green and All Star Movies. We enjoyed them all. All Star Movies was the last one we stayed at, and we loved it. The rooms were small, but nicely Disney decorated, clean and fun. We wouln't pay more after staying there. Actually we are a family of 5 / 6 with my mom who usually comes so we prefer staying off-site now. I can't imagine staying on-site again after our first condo last year. The space, kitchen and laundry room was so great:goodvibes

I would go for a value. I don't know what all the fuss is about. We enjoyed our stay as we did everywhere else;)

Here's mine...did value first time last year. Loved POP!! Going back!

Any trip to Disney would be great. It is what you make of it and the resort plays a second to that. We have done mods and bud....never deluxe. I have never had a bad stay anywhere but I must say that I prefer the mods for the money.

I don't have mine listed, but we started out at deluxes because we're a family of 5. Now that the kids are older, it's usually just 2 or 3 of us that go, so we stay at a value, or sometimes splurge on a moderate. This past summer when there were 6 of us, we camped at FW.

I'd love to stay deluxe every time, but since we have AP's and go several times a year, I'm just as happy with a value!
