We can honestly say that we would never stay in a Value again. This next trip will be our first at a Deluxe. But as of right now my husband says the lowest he is willing to stay is a Moderate in the future. We will see what he says after our Deluxe stay in March. Hopefully Moderate will still be an option!

Here is our list...next year we are staying at the WL...most of our stays are 9/12 nights...I'm not sure if I would try a Value ... maybe a Mod for a short stay

We always stay at POFQ...love the coziness and boat to DTD. But, we are looking into trying other resorts like the WL or AKL. After looking at photos, don't think I would be happy with the value, since it's just DH and I, and we do like to spend some time relaxing at the resort. Maybe that's why we love POFQ, it does seem to attract more older couples, IMO.

We will be planning a 30th anniv. trip in a few years and said I always wanted to stay at the Poly for my 30th.(I always dreamed of sharing a bottle of wine on the beach while watching Wishes) Hopefully, I can get a great deal since it is sooooo expensive, otherwise we would still like a deluxe resort for that one trip.

Here is our list. We are DVC members so that is the kind of resorts we stay at now. DH is a resort snob and will only stay at DVC or deluxe. Personally I'm a deluxe kind of gal too!LOL We really loved our recent stay at AKL and it is top on our list of favorites!!

We are doing WL this year because we wanted it to be special for Christmas. We really enjoyed the value for the kids because of the large icons and the Disney Magic. As young adults and no children we really loved the feel of the port Orleans and last year we all loved the Caribean theme. I love staying on site because of all the disney "Magic".

We have enjoyed many trips over the years and have stayed in each level resort Deluxe, Moderate and Value. If we can't stay Deluxe we now just stay over at Pop.

Our first trip to Disney we stayed at ASsp and while the boys were small they loved it. But now that we have stayed at AKL, Poly and BC the boys will beg me not to go back. I think Ive created little monsters. Not to mention I love the idea of taking a boat or a monorail to the parks or even walking to Epcot from our resor

While a value is not my 1st choice.....I'm even more spoiled since we
purchased DVC...I would stay at a value again....
Probably a split stay...

The biggest problem I have with values and mods for that matter is the beds.(double...not queen)

I stay where my budget allows. we started by staying offsite and then our first trip onsite was at the Allstar Sports, once I stayed onsite I never went back to staying offsite.
My second trip onsite we stayed at the GF because my mother had been a breast cancer survivor for several years and had always wanted to stay at the GF. So we shared a room and split the cost and had a great time. Subsequent trips have been at the YC (got a convention rate) WL (got a great code rate) and then moderates (my favorite is the POFQ and this turned out to be my mother's favorite resort after the GF). When I finally conned my husband into going with me we stayed at the Poly which we loved and then the AKL I loved it, he liked the Poly better.
I'ved stayed at the Allstar Music and I really like this resort, especially when I travel solo and can not justify spending alot of money on a resort for myself.
So basicially budget dictates or if I'm going with family, I go along with the flow.
So far I have not disliked a single resort.

Here are mine - below.
We stayed one night at the Pop this year before checking in to GF. We weren't there long enough to give a full review but it seemed fine. Normal size hotel room. BIG theming.

We got a convention rate at GF otherwise I don't know that we would have stayed there. It was nice and I would stay there again if the price was right. My DS 9 wants to stay at every deluxe.Spoiled already.

I like the interior corridors and more food options of the deluxes. But, I would stay mod. or value - no problem. How much time do you spend at the resort anyways? If i was there for an extended time, I would probably choose a different resort than for a shorter stay.

As you can see we have only ever stayed at POR at Disney, no value would sleep 5 when we first went, but we fell in love with it and besides it's dearer for us to stay in a suite at the value then a room at a moderate
