I read not all resorts will open starting in July Does anyone have any info what resorts will be open?

thanks

On June 22, the DVC Resorts and Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds open.

No official dates for any other Disney owned & operated resort at WDW.

I think it is a given that not all the remaining Resorts will open on July 11.

I personally do think a few of them will.

My prediction for the next wave is July 18th so that all parks are open at that point. Hopefully we will hear soon!

I wonder if they might hold off announcing the opening of other resorts until after they see how the initial reopening of the resorts and parks is going with reduced capacity and extra protocols in place. If the parks and restaurants and pools can only operate at 25%/35%/50% type capacity numbers, it's going to be difficult to open up all the resorts to too many people. But since Disney seems to keep all these details quiet for the most part, the rest of us can only guess and predict!

I read that cast members from pop century and cbr have been called back as well. I’m thinking they’re going to be opening those skyliner resorts after the initial reopening.

I think that your point has a lot of merit. There are CMs reporting that they are being recalled to CBR and POP soon. They cannot just open those resorts up without some preparation and training of returning staff. It’s going to take a while to do it. Once Epcot and HS reopen, park capacity will increase dramatically. That should permit more resorts to open, even if only select sections of each are opened.

CBR and POP access Epcot and HS via Skyliner. It would make sense that if any Values or Moderates reopen, those would be the two that can open with the smallest impact on bus transportation.

Some CMs who have been called back are not being sent to their original assignments. So, just because that is where they were, I don’t think it means that is where they go,

My understanding is CMs are being called back by seniority too.

I don’t think. With reduce park attendance. That all resorts will open . Just one or two of the pops. One or two of the mid price

I think some will open after July 11. I have read about them calling back CM’s at CBR and there was another one I think YC.

Gondolas have been spotted on the CBR Station to Epcot line.

Could just mean DRR will definitely have Skyliner service, but I would think it may be an indication CBR will open also-time will tell.
