Resorts near MCO?

We are planning a trip to Orlando in late May or early June. We always do the parks but also have friends in the area that we spend some time with that live near the MCO. Is there a resort that is say no more than 20 minutes from the airport. I have older teens so driving to the parks is not an issue with us. We go early in the morning and just stay all day.

Well, I'd say it depends on WHERE near the airport they live. North, south, east, or west. Can you give an area?

If it's south, then Gaylord is probably the best bet. North, um not really much of anything. East, not much of anything. West, the FLorida Mall hotel is probably the closest nice hotel after the Hyatt right at the Airport. Next closest would probably be the I-Drive or Sea World area resorts...the Renassaince is supposed to be wonderful, and the Peabody is great!

They live in Bell Isle just off Jet Port Road and B line.

The Ritz Carlton is probably the closest resort to them.
