Resort with closer Bus Pickups at Parks

Which Resort has the closer Bus Pickups at the Parks? For example....the 1st Bus stand is for GF guests, the next is for Animal Kingdom Lodge, etc. all the way to the last one (the furthest distance from the park entrance). I'm asking because last year we stayed at the Caribbean and often it was the furthest from the entrance to the park as far as resorts go...with the exception of Downtown Disney!

I thought they were in order of cost most expensive hotel first down line to values then dtd bus! at least when we walked to pop that's the line up I saw!!

No - its not that simple or logical. There isn't any correlation as to the closeness of the bus stops and the level of the resorts.

Even so, after walking several miles does it really matter if you have to walk an extra 100 yards?

The stops can change throughout the day.

Nope and from a theme park there isn't going to be a bus to DTD either.

Last April we noticed at DTD bus at the AK park....we were boarding a bus to go back to AKL and we noticed the sign and the bus also had it on the front window:confused3 so yes I think at times there are DTD buses from parks.

I don't know what you saw, but there have not been buses from any theme parks to DTD for at least 6 years.

There are situations where you might see DTD on the bus' marquee if it hadn't updated yet, but you wouldn't see a load zone with a DTD sign at a park.

The bus stop numbers are different at every park, and they change from time to time during the course of the year. Even if someone could tell you what the lineup is today, there's no guarantee it would be the same when you arrive.

Also, your resort's bus stop only matters at the end of the night when you're going back to your resort. When you arrive at the park, there's no way of knowing which resort's bus stop you'll be dropped at. The buses are assigned a route dynamically when they arrive at the park. They won't be going back to the resort they just arrived from, so you'll be dropped you off at the gate for another random resort.

In the bigger scheme of all the walking that's done during the course of a day at the parks, the proximity of one bus stop to the entrance over another shouldn't really be a factor in picking your resort. In a practical sense, there's no way to plan for it anyway.

There are no regular buses running between parks and DTD. If there were to be one, it would have to be a special circumstance...it just isn't routinely done.

As far as resort bus stops at each park?? Sorry, but it varies with each park. You may have a 'near the park entrance' spot at one park, and then be the furthest one at another park.
AKL used to the very first one at MK...and there are a lot more expensive resorts!!! It just varies.
Not to mention......a resort may have a certain spot today, but next month??? Whole different placement. Nothing is etched in stone.

Do not choose a resort based on it's bus stop placement at the parks. Way too much room for changes.
