Resort Wishlist...

I would like to stay at the Boardwalk Inn-I like the Epcot resort area, and the resort looks beautiful.

We're going to stay at all of the resorts at least once. I think it's fun to try them all! That said, I definitely have preferences among them. I'll break my feelings down into three categories:

The Good
1. Coronado Springs - I've always loved all things Hispanic. I think the resort is beautiful, love the pool, and had a great time here!
2. Polynesian - This often flips back and forth with Coronado for being my "favorite". I've also always loved all things hula/beach. I love the location, dining, colors. Can't wait to stay here for my first time in March!
3. Grand Floridian - Haven't stayed here yet. I just have always thought it's really pretty, love the location. Hopefully will be staying here for our 2 year anniversary in August.
4. Caribbean Beach - Very similar to Polynesian, stayed here the first night I was married - can't wait to experience it as a longer stay in March.
5. Wilderness Lodge - Haven't stayed here yet. I just like the atmosphere and decor here.
6. Animal Kingdom Lodge - Haven't stayed here yet. I think it will cool to look out of my balcony and see animals.
7. Beach Club - Haven't stayed here yet. Stormalong Bay seems awesome and I love the colors they've used here. Has the beach theme that I love.
8. Old Key West - Haven't stayed here yet. Again with the beach theme. ;) I think the wood work and colors here are really interesting and I love the sand pool!

The "Eh" (Don't hate, but not as intrigued)
9. Yacht Club - Haven't stayed here yet. I just don't like the colors as well as Beach Club, and since it shares a pool I'd rather be at Beach Club.
10. Swan/Dolphin - Haven't stayed there yet. I have always been intrigued by the buildings, but hesitate styaing there because of the lack of dining plan.
11. Boarwalk Inn - Haven't stayed here yet. Hasn't ever really jumped out at me and the clown kind of creeps me out.
12. Contemporary - Haven't stayed here yet. The theme seems bland here - I can get the excitement of the monorail at Grand Floridian or Polynesian.

The Bad
13. Saratoga Springs - Haven't stayed here yet. I just don't feel like it really has much of a "theme" or anything too special.
14. Fort Wilderness - My parents LOVE camping and I've been here several times. I hate camping with a passion and have no desire to ever camp again. I've never stayed in the cabins, but they don't seem that special to me - I've been in cabins elsewhere and I wouldn't use the kitchen.
15. All Stars/Pop - I've been to All Star Music and Pop, husband hasn't been to any. The biggest things I hate about them is the buses and lack of hot tub. Plus, they all seem the same to me and I kind of feel "been there, done that" about them.
16. Port Orleans Riverside/French Quarter - We've been to Riverside, but not to French Quarter. The theme just doesn't jump out to me at these and the bus service wasn't as good as the other places I've stayed.

The resort at the very top of my wishlist is the Beach Club, and I'm staying there in May! I'd also love to try the Grand Floridian, the Poly, and AKL. I've stayed at WL, my only deluxe so far and I LOVED it, and I would definitely go back there again!

I'd like to try the moderates, but one in particular doesn't stand out to me. I guess if I had to choose one I'd really like to stay at it would be POFQ, but again, I'd like to try them all.

I've stayed in ASMu also, and I liked it, but after staying in a deluxe, I don't see how I can go back to a value! I have no interest in Sports, and I suppose if I had to go back to a value, I'd be ok with trying Pop or Movies.

I have no interest in Yacht Club or Saratoga Springs.

I'm kind of indifferent about Contemporary, Bay Lake Tower and Old Key West...I wouldn't say I want to stay at any of these, but I suppose I would if I got a free upgrade or something! I can kind of see the appeal of CR, being so close to MK, and the rooms are nice, I just can't stand the pool area there, I think it is SO ugly.

Let's see ... the top of my list includes Poly, Contemporary (both of which we've stayed at) and WL (where we'll be in April ). I would like to someday try AKL, BLT, WLV, and maybe GF. The only ones I definitely have no real urge to stay at are the values. I wouldn't mind POR, I'd give CBR a try.

Definitely want to stay at:
Beach Club
Polynesian
Wilderness Lodge

I would like to stay at all the resorts at least once. But, I love the themes of the above mentioned so that's why they're tops on my wish list. I've had breakfast at Poly and Dinner at WL so, I'm getting closer! ;)
Contemporary will probably be the last one I'd stay at. The theming does nothing for me but, I will stay there one day!

Resorts at the top of my wish list are Grand Floridian and Contemporary. I would love to try every single resort (I'm a try everything once sort of girl...within reason ).

I've heard good things about All Star and Pop, but to be honest I think that the design/decor/themeing is just plain tacky and overwhelming. Great for kids though.

Hi,

We have stayed at CBR and CSR.
My dream resorts are: Beach Club, Boardwalk and Grand Floridian.
Resorts I might try are POR, AKL, Poly and Pop.
Resorts I don't care to try are the villas, POFQ, Contemporary and the All Stars.

We would like to try all of the resorts!

Already stayed at;
Shades of Green
Old Key West (Although it wasn't called that at the time)
Pop
POR
WL
CSR (That one is this June)

Would love to stay at;
Poly (Love the looks of this one; loved O'Hana's)
BC/YC (Closeness to EPCOT and it is gorgeous)
Boardwalk( See above)
GF (Yeah in my dreams)
AKL (My DD would love this one)
POFQ (Liked the food court and boat to DTD)
SSR (we're not DVC members, but I still like the looks of it)

I could wait for;
Contemp (We've been to CM there and just didn't like the theming. Can't explain why:confused3)
All Stars (I don't like sharing buses)
Ft. Wilderness (We aren't campers, but might try the cabins someday)
CBR (Maybe someday with my grandchildren)

Anyway those are me choices!

These are my thoughts, and I know some people will disagree with my choices. That's why I love Disney resorts, there are so many options to fit a person's need/personality!

Top:

Polynesian (love everything about it, location, theming, food...)
Wilderness Lodge (going in June, we'll see if it stays at the top!)
Beach Club (access to Boardwalk and Epcot, plus it's just really pretty)

Middle:

POR (read good things about it; boat to DD is a perk)
POFR (those big things hanging down in the food court are kinda creepy though...)
CSR (visited the resort, and it's beautiful; not sure about the rooms)
Pop (of all the values I think I would like this best; double beds are too small)

Bottom:

Contemporary (the only thing that appeals to me is that it is a Monorail resort)
Grand Floridian (yes, it is a beautiful resort, and has a great location, but it's too froo-froo for me)
CBR (visited the resort, didn't appeal to me, which is odd because I love the beach!)
