I realize weather is totally unpredictable, but do people swim at the WDW pools in December? Are they heated? Thanks.

We were there last dec. and it was warm enough to swim.
I am hoping it will be warm enough this year also.

As you say, the weather can be unpredictable, however we had a REALLY cold spell last December for our trip! We were there the week between Christmas and New Years and froze! The afternoons in the parks were okay, but my daughter INSISTED on swimming. We were at POFQ... and yes the water was heated, however, you can't keep ALL parts of your body under water! My face FROZE!

I always say that it depends where you're from.

We were swimming in October of 2001 and people thought we were nuts, highs in the 60's. I am a diehard pool lover. We open our pool in April and close it in November. I'll get in it at least 1 or 2 days for those months just to make the dumb point that you can you a pool in Buffalo 2/3rds of the yr! Actually a couple of Aprils ago it got into the 80's and we were glad we opened it early.

I remember when we were kids, as soon as the lake hit 60, we were in!

We plan on using the pool this December when we visit POR!
