I voted Value - the hotels are still great - and really, how much time do you spend at your resort anyhow??? Why pay extra?????

This is strictly a matter of opinion! We spend a lot of time at the resort. Have you stayed anywhere besides a value? Most people won't go back to one once they've upgraded.

this Aug we'll be going from a value (Pop) to a deluxe (Wilderness Lodge) to a DVC studio (Beach Club)
I may need to keep reminding myself while at Pop "only 5 more days till WL, only 4 more days till WL, only 3 more days till WL -"

I love my moderates. I've stayed in other catergories and feel most comfortable at the moderates at this point in my life. ;)

I've learned that the nicer resort the more time you actually want to spend at them! When we stayed mod our goal every day was to get out as soon as possible and go to a park. When we started staying at the Poly we found that there was so much to offer and we spend more time there then at the parks.

I found the same to be true when staying deluxe, as you can see from my history. The deluxe hotels give you a reason to spend more time there. Besides, I'm on vacation and it only comes once a year for me so I want to be waited on. I work hard enough at home every single day so when I'm on vacation, I want to relax and have people do things for me.......

I totally agree with that. When we go value or moderate we usually leave early in the morning are rarely come back at all. When we stay deluxe we spend a lot of time at the resort relaxing, swimming, etc.

There is nothing better than my one bedroom DVC!

Full kitchen, washer/dryer, King size bed, jacuzzi tub! I love my DVC! My home away from home!

I agree, I would rather save the money to spend in the parks and at DTD.
but each to their own.
(This coming from a 20-something, who would go all day in the parks with out rest, for the resort is for sleeping and thats about it!!)

OKay the votes are in and the catagroy is... Deluxe! :rotfl: Now I'll set up the next catagory. Deluxe Resort areas!
