Hubby and I will be taking our 3yr old little girl the week after thanksgiving 2016.

Depending on discounts our choices are
POR Royal room
Studio at Poly
Standard room at BC
1bedroom value villa Jambo

Hubby has his heart set on the BC. (I didn't feel the magic)

Any suggestions??

If you are not DVC with an 11 month booking window, value villas at AK are very limited and usually booked by owners. Non-value studios and 1BRs are easier to get in a DVC rental.

Unless you get a Poly studio at 7 months DVC rental (not a lot of 11-month owners renting yet; only about a third of Poly is sold and most new owners are still high on owning), POR is likely to be least expensive, and it's a lovely resort.

Have you stayed at the BC? I wasn't feeling it either before we went for the first time but I fell in love! And there is a great pool for your little one if it's warm enough to swim that week. Also a nice character breakfast at Cape May.

If you've been and really didn't like it, I think I would go for the Poly studio if you can get it. With a child that age I'm guessing a lot of MK time so it would be great to be on the monorail.

Out of your choices we've stayed at Poly, BC, and AKL and my choice would be either Poly or AKL. The BC is a nice resort and we had a good stay, but we love the tropical atmosphere of the Poly and the quiet/peacefulness of AKL more than the BC. With that said, I'm sure you'll have a great time no matter which resort you choose. Good luck :).

The BC is our favorite of all those choices. I would save the Royal room for when your daughter is older.

Since your hubby has his heart set on the BC then I would go with that. :)

That is a hard list to choose from, all are great for one reason or another. I'm a huge YC/BC fan so that would be my first choice but it's only because Epcot and HS are our favorite parks. Poly is nice and I'm guessing with a 3 year old you are going to be spending more time at MK then any of the other parks so there is that advantage. AKL is a beautiful resort and I recently stayed in a 1 bedroom at Jambo House, just perfect. Only one drawback is 1 bathroom but again, with your family make up that wouldn't be a problem. Personally, I wouldn't spend extra for the Royal Room at POR, you are getting a head board that lights up and just a tad closer to the check in and food. Staying one building over in any of the plantation buildings is going to give you just about the same advantage as to distance and cost you less. If hubby is paying, I'd let him choose.

Note: I love AKL, but if you are basing it on getting a Value room, the likelihood you will be able to do so is so very, very small I recommend figuring out the cost to get a Standard not a Value. There are a total of 10 1BR lock-off Jambo units. Their availability even at 11 months can be a tough booking even for DVC owners at AKL. Just because DVC rental sites list the point cost for a unit does not make that unit rentable.

I loved the BC pool and location, but didn't love the resort itself. This is going to be a tough decision...
