Pardon my ignorance, but do you have to be a resort guest to dine at any of the resort restaurants? When we used to go to Disney when I was a kid we always stayed in a WDW resort so I've never given it much thought. Now that we bring our own kids we stay at my parents' vacation house. I'd love to bring my girls to have tea with Alice in the GF but didn't know if that was doable.

You do not have to be a resort guest to enjoy any of the places at WDW. The only difference is that if you are staying onsite, you can book your meals at 180+10 days from the start of your stay at their hotels. If you are staying offsit, you can only book 180 days from the date of your meal.

I hope you and your girls enjoy the tea. It sounds like so much fun.
