Which resort restaurant has the best or most unique atmosphere? I mean as far as theming, detail, unique decor, etc..?

The Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club - Great wood atmosphere, overlooking stormalong bay, low lighting has a very cozy feeling. Great food and service, I highly recommend it!!!

Victoria and Albert's wins hands down. Yachtsman is nice but it is a typical high-end steakhouse.

Great question.

Jiko is my choice for finer dining.

Sci-Fi or 50's Prime Time for themed family dining.

My vote goes to Boma at the AKL. It is a wonderfully themed restaurant that serves food just as unique as its decor. Also Ohana at the Poly is very well themed.

V&A, Jiko, Yactsman.
Artist Point has sort of a Northwest look and feel to it, but I don't care for that look a whole lot.

I love the look of Jiko, and you can't beat the tank and beautiful colors of the Coral Reef interior (we like dining here, altho you'll get mixed reviews on the food).

are you looking more for just adults, or adults & children (& if so, how old are the kidlets)?

Hi there,

I guess I don't mean age grouping consideration at all. I just mean which restaurants do you go into the most and first words out of your mouth is "Woah...Holy Moly!!"

-Not taking in any consideration to food taste or particular style, just atmosphere, detail to decor, special effects maybe, just amazingness (not sure thats a word!)

Beirgarten, 50's Prime Time, Sci Fi, Rainforest Cafe

Flying Fish, my kids love how the ceiling lights up. The walls are covered with murals of old-time rollercoasters and they have a big open kitchen. The whole place is just neat!

Sounds neat-any photos of Flying Fish?

For unique ambience and theming (putting aside whether the food is good or not), Coral Reef, Sci-Fi Dine In, 50s Prime Time Cafe, Marrakesh, Brown Derby, Princess Meal at Cinderella's Royal Table, San Angel Inn, Liberty Tree Tavern, Maya Grill.

I'd have to vote 50's Primetime. Very cool stuff. I like the little living room waiting area next to the bar. It reminds me of my Grandma's house. :)
