Im canceling out ressie at H&V.. but cant get in for another character meal that day.. So Im thinking of booking a dinner ressie at one of the Resort Restaurants. It might be a good way to check out one of the other resorts that Id like to try on a future trip. So I was thinking either Animal Kingdom Lodge, or Wilderness.. how are the restaurants there though? Any that youd suggest over those?

We love both Boma & Whispering Canyon Cafe. We did both last trip and the next time we go are the must do again list. We also like Kona for dinner at the Polynesian.

We enjoyed our meal at Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. The food is a little different as far as seasonings go and might not be to everyone's taste. It is also a buffet so if you don't care for buffet's it might not be for you. Jiko gets wonderful reviews. And so doesn't Sanaa.

If you want quick service, the Mara has a pretty good selection.

thanks so much!! Ill look into those others too!! my kids might not love Boma if its really different..

Thinking about this some more, if you have children, they may enjoy WCC more- it's a fun place with the ketchup sharing, the stick pony races and antics of the servers. I like the food at Boma better, FWIW, because it's got items I might not find locally or be able to make myself. That said WCC food is pretty good. Especially the caramel apple pie....
