What is the least busy time to check in @ a WDW Resort? We'll be driving in from St.Pete beach or Tampa depending on what we decide to do that day & depending on weather. Or, does anyone have an idea of what time to avoid from past experiences?

In our experiences, there's really never been a time that was worse than others. We have gone in January, May, July, September, October, & December and have checked in at all times of day from early morning to after midnight and have never experienced a wait.

On our most recent trip, we checked in on a Friday night around 9:30pm. Not our 1st choice time to check in but we were at the mercy of the airline times! Anyway, there was no one in line at check in at the Poly at that time. Of course this varies, but in our experience late morning to early evening seem to be the busiest times. Last summer we arrived at the Poly at 8:00am and we were the only ones there at that time as well. It just depends :)

We checked in at the Poly on a Saturday at about 11:30am. We only waited about 5 minutes. Most of the people checking out seemed to be gone and there was only about 3 people checking in (and there was only a wait because there was one large group in front of us who were trying to get everything organized).

I don't want to start a debate but I've only had a few minutes waite with on line check in.

We checked in on a Saturday before thanksgiving at POR and had no wait what so ever. ---9:30 am

That does not sound so bad.

I'll be doing that for sure. :thumbsup2 Pretty sure this will be our 1st time using it.

:woohoo:

Well, over all it seems like something I should not have to worry about.

It's pretty quiet at 3:30 a.m. LOL! Our truck broke down and we were that late checking in, but there was no line!

I normally check in either after 8 p.m. and I rarely have a line.

Oh my gosh!!! That's a dent in the plans but thanks for the later tip. :goodvibes

I think the only time you might face a wait for check in is if you are unlucky enough to walk in right behind a ME bus that has just arrived from the airport.

We our another late night family, usually roll into the resort around midnight and yes once around 4am because of car troubles. Guess what....never a line:laughing: We have come to enjoy it because our DD's usually get stickers and balloons at check-in because they are the only ones there and the CM's are not busy so give them extra attention.
