Quick question-I know there was a thread about this somewhere, but I couldn't find it. My 1 1/2 year old just got diagnosed with pink eye and a sinus infection today (glad it was this week and not next!!!). Anyway, the doctor put her on Amoxicillin and I will need to keep it cold while we're there. If you have to refrigerate the medication, does the resort still charge you for the fridge?

Thanks in advance!

I was at the Poly in June/July of 2003, they gave me a complimentary refridgerator when I was breastfeeding. I have heard from serveral other posters that they do comp a fridge for medicine also.

They will probably let you use a small one...about the size of a shoebox.

Most recent posters about refrigerators for medication have reported they were not charged. Some got a dorm size frig and some got a tiny little countertop frig (the shoebox size). Make sure your medication is labeled to indicate it needs refrigeration so you can show it to the CMs at check in if you need to. Double check your statement when you check out. Some people have posted they were told the charge would be waived, but they found a $10 per day refrigerator charge on their final bill.
You might also want to check with the pharmacy whether the medication is refrigerated to preserve it or for flavor. Some antibiotics are OK at room temperature, but they are refrigerated to improve the taste. If that's the case, you don't have to worry so much about the temperature. I'd still go for the refrigerator (since you don't want your DD spitting it out because it doesn't taste good).
