Hey everyone,

For my sweet sixteen this year, instead of having a huge party, i decided i wanted to go to wdw. So now my fam left it up to me to plan EVERYTHING as fun as this sounds, no one in my family is giving their opinions on anything, they wanna leave it up to me. SO when it comes to deciding which resort to choose, i cant decide. I was hoping that some of yous can give me some advice on which ones every one like going to thanks a bunch

Well, tell me, first, your dislikes and likes as in themes.

to tell you the truth, my family has been to many different resorts and as nice as they were there really werent anything special about them. and i have and older bro and sis, i want them to have fun too, so i cant really make it too cheesy. (not that any disney resort is cheesy but in their eyes some are) <3

Well, do you like the South West? Do you like the boardwalks at the oceans? Or would you prefer the Caribbean? Or maybe you like the New Orleans? Or you could go to a nice Hawaiin themed resort.

There are tons more to choose from. But this is YOUR trip :D

i personally like the contemporary....monorail transportation, huge arcade, great shopping places, marina...its awesome....any magic kingdom resort is great! :)

How much are your parents allowing you to spend? The more money you're allowed to spend, the more options you will have.

my rents say that money doesnt matter but still i dont wanna choose the Most $$$ resort. but like what resorts did u stay at that people in your fam liked???

I Loved Port Orleans Riverside :cool1: Hope you have fun wherever you go!

The boardwalk and Beach villas are great. They both have great pools. You can walk along the boardwalk and go to some of the good restaurants. Also, they are both within walking distances of MGM and Epcot which are both good places for older people.

I've stayed at the Polynesian and All Star Sports. My family enjoyed both. We liked the Polynesian because it's on the monorail loop and is close to the Magic Kingdom. At the All Stars, we were able to get 2 rooms (for our family of 5) for basically the same amount as one room at the Polynesian. This was an advantage because we had more space. While the All Stars may be "cheesy," you might want to consider one of them for your trip. After all, the hotel is just a place to sleep and sometimes eat, so in the end it really doesn't matter where you stay. Just my personal opinion...

yeahh i wanted to go to the all star either movies or pop but idk u think a 21 and 23 year old will like it???

UGH!!! I really dislike those resorts. I think if you have the choice, you should go with Moderate and up.

i would go with an all star resort or pop century, they all have great pools, food courts, arcades...and you will be at the parks most of the time anyways.

The all star resorts are the 'cheapest', but they're actually really nice and fun to stay at :)
