Resort portrait session

Hi all,

I'm looking for some help choosing a location for our portrait session in July. Does anyone have suggestions of which resort would make for good pictures?

It really depends on what look you want in your photos. Lots of people love the Victorian theme of the Grand Floridian. We chose the Polynesian and Wilderness Lodge because we like their theming the best and it gave us two completely different looks for our photos. The BoardWalk is popular for its fun seaside vibe. Coronado Springs is very colorful. Port Orleans French Quarter is romantic.... You get the idea!

What is YOUR favorite resort?

We're getting married at SBP so we'll probably have some pictures around the boardwalk area already. We're staying at POR so that might be a convenient (and pretty) option. Thanks for the opinions, I just haven't ever been to any of the resorts other than the values so I'm not sure what they're like.

For our first shoot with Regina, we did Polynesian (since we were staying there) and Beach Club (since we own our DVC there). We also did a resort bridal shoot with her, after our vow renewal and we chose Grand Floridian, Boardwalk and Wilderness. All of them have been fabulous.

We are doing another shoot with Regina in September and we chose POR and Art of Animation.

The Boardwalk/Beach Club area has some great backdrops for resort photos. DH and I have done this twice with Randy Chapman and our photos came out great. We went inside the Boardwalk/Beach Club/Yacht Club lobbies, by Stormalong Bay, the beach area by the Beach Club, all along the Boardwalk, and the Boardwalk sign in front of the Boardwalk, just to give you some ideas. Have fun!

Randy took loads of photos of us at AKL before our dinner reception there...it's our fave resort and we really loved how those pics came out.

We also did the BoardWalk area because our ceremoney was at SBP, but I think I prefer the AKL ones....here's just two...
