Mainly checking for Slinky. We arrive on a Tuesday and Saturday would be day we want to ride Slinky, so day 6 I think?

If we book that first on our day we can book, looking for around 5 or later, is this doable? Or are they all gone even this early?

From what I saw SDD doesn't go that fast and there were still options the day of so especially if you want later in the day I wouldn't make that day your first day you book.

We were able to get SDD on Day 1. It was later in the day and that was the only one we weren't ever able to modify.

I had no problem getting Slinky Dog. It is Day 4 of our trip. I bought LL for today just for SDD. Hopped from Epcot to make our time. Ride went down on our way over. The blue umbrella people refunded us for the day since we had not used LL at all yet. We have been here 2 hours and it’s still down.

The availability when schools are in session (now) won’t apply to the holidays (December). You will probably want to book SDD on your last day to be safe and get value out of LLMp.

I'll be there first week. But I'll probably do it anyways. I can book for myself and my husband a day earlier and I'm going to grab us Slinky and try to match up times for rest of party when I book all our other stuff next day.

Rest of group isn't that excited about Slinky anyways. 😂

It's actually a much better ride at night!

We will be there first week of December - is it dark around 5? We are actually going to be there for Jollywood Nights, but that doesn't start until 7:30 so I think I should be able to make Slinky reservation as late as possible, park closes at 7. We have hoppers so will be there earlier with multipass.

I just booked my LL today and I couldn't get Slinky Dog for the first day of our trip but I got it for the 5th day no problem.

Sunset is around 5:45 pm. Fantasy in the sky fireworks (12/30 and 12/31) are at 6:30 pm so yes it does get dark earlier. If you get a 6 pm LLMP that would be great.

Even offsite guests can get SDD, it’s just late in the day by the time they book. At least according to Thrill Data.
Onsite can book 7 days in advance (still competing with a lot of onsite guests unless booking later in the trip) vs 3 days for offsite guests (limited availability).
