Resort parking

Do you still need parking passes to park at the resorts? Online check in is great with the exception of potentially needing a parking pass for our car.

The resorts are now using your MB as proof of having a valid room reservation.

In the past the gate always had the parking pass for us, and it was still that way in May whether we did online check in or not. Others have still reported receiving them as well but as Bill mentioned they'll scan your MB.

We arrive without MBs with instructions to pick them up at check in. I'm assuming we might get a paper parking pass at the gate until we get our MBs

Here's an update. Did the no parking pass issue change? At 2 resorts it did. Just got back last night. Checked into bwv last Saturday and was given a parking pass at the guard station. We tried to use our magic band to get in and was told we can't do that until we get our room (yes we did online checkin). The next day, Sunday August 2 we moved to BLT and again we were given a parking pass from the guard. So at bwv and BLT they both give out parking passes, which I would guess it's because parking can be a issue at each of these resorts. And the parking at bwv is limited if anyone is interested.

We're staying at okw so I will just tell our friends they will probably get a parking pass at the gate. They should be arriving after check in time so their room in theory should be ready. Appreciate the help everyone!!

We got a parking pass issued at SSR as well. The same thing happened at BLT in May, the guard gave us a pass when we first when to the resort.

We are staying a VGF in September. The other families we are traveling with are staying at BC. Would they be able to park VGF for a fee and meet us there in the mornings so we can go to ADRs/parks together from VGF?

Unless they are registered at VGF, they will not be allowed to park there for an entire day unless they pay for valet. That's $20 plus tip.
