If we choose valet parking at our resort for $15 per day, can we take our car from our resort to another resort and use their valet parking for dinner, for the same $15. We would of course tip at both places. TIA.

First off, Valet parking is now $20/24 hours. And yes it is good for 24 hours. Keep your receipt and bring it to the second valet location.
Have fun

I asked about that last week, Valet at Beach club for our stay but driving to the Poly - was told you don't need a receipt, everything is tracked by license plate now.

I thought it was just until midnight not 24 hours. has this changed?

we got charged so much last time as we got back before midnight and then was charged again at midnight until the next night

You only have to pay for valet once per day, but the system does roll around midnight (although we were told that if you got back close to midnight, they wouldn't charge you for a second day). So it's not a 24-hour period from when you arrive at valet. Also, I believe the "in-and-out" privileges only applies to the WDW resorts (i.e., if you went to the Swan or Dolphin, you'd have to pay there).

I would still keep the receipt if possible. I was there once when the computer system was down, so they could not check based on the license plate. Luckily, I had my receipt so everything was fine.
