Resort Parking Question

May be a silly question but do we still get free parking if we are using points from a resale contract? We are looking to purchase and are on the fence between direct and resale. I understand that the "perks" are not a guarantee but at $25 a night for parking it's something to factor in. Thanks!

Remember that parking at the theme parks is an onsite perk, though, not a DVC specific perk. If you happen to stay offsite, you will be charged for theme park parking unless you have an annual pass.

I am assuming you mean parking at the resort. Yes, that is "free" for resale owners. The parking is part of our yearly dues, so every DVC member enjoys that benefit.

If I rent points to stay at a DVC resort would I be entitled to free parking at the resort as well as at the parks ?

If you stay at a DVC Resort, using points you will get free parking at your WDW resort.**. Theme park parking, yes, but not just because you are staying DVC, theme park parking is for all onsite guests. They will scan your magic band. But I would really consider using the Disney Transportation, whether it is bus, boat, skyliner or monorail rather than driving to a park. **This may not apply to Aulani in Hawaii or at Disneyland in California.

adding on to this questio, does it matter how many cars? Can we park two cars under one room reservation?

Never had a problem doing that. Different parts of the family may drive from different areas.
