I am planning my very first trip with DD9 and DD12 April 30. I have had our ADRs booked since the 180 day window opened up. The problem is I'm not sure if we will be too tired to head to Epcot for dinner after our waterpark day. We will still have a full day at Epcot no matter what we decide. I thought at first it would be nice to have another few hours in Epcot, but now wonder if it would be better to head to a resort for dinner and just have a relaxing evening. What would you do? Keep the ADR at Epcot or change it to one of the resorts such as BOMA?

I would make a reservation at your resort unless you are staying at the All-Stars or Pop Century.

If you are going to go outside of your resort you might as well go to Epcot. Just remember it counts as a day of admission even if you just go to the restaurant.

My suggestion would be to head to Resort; that way you don't have to use a park day ticket and you can try a new restaurant outside of the parks. If you are going to Typhoon Lagoon consider eating somewhere in the Yacht and Beach club. I would recommend highly Cape May Cafe. If you are headed to Blizzard Beach I would then recommend eating dinner at The Animal Kingdom Lodge; Boma is wonderful!

Consider Downtown Disney. There are many wonderful counter service and table service restaurants. Plus you can window shop the souvenir shops and the Lego store. All-in-all a nice evening that is still in the Disney bubble without being in the parks. You could park at POR or POFQ and take a boat to DTD. That makes it even more fun than driving/bus to DTD. Stores open until 11pm. Plus POR and POFQ have live music Weds-Sunday, and you could stop by and listen for awhile. :)

I am assuming you have park tickets. I would go for the Epcot dinner and do innoventions. Your on vacation, live it up!

I add one more vote for passing on Epcot. I would try your resort, a resort near yours, maybe DTD or maybe BW restaurants.
