Resort new pricing of weekends being a higher price?

Hi:

Has anyone complained to guest services about the price increase for weekends while staying a long stay in a disney resort? If so what was their response.

As with other price changes Disney has instituted, my expectation is that complaints will not matter. The only thing that will matter is if guests stop booking weekend days in large numbers.

And, personally, I'm not expecting that that will come to pass.

Many if not most resort destinations price weekends higher than weekdays, just as many if not most city destinations price weekdays higher than weekends. Pricing reflects demand.

As with many things in regards to resorts, WDW is a follower and not a leader. They are simply catching up to the rest of the industry.
