Resort mugs

Hey, are the resort mugs reusable over the years? Or do you have to buy new ones each time you stay? I know you have to buy at each resort, but what if you stay at the same resort you stayed at last time and bought a mug then? Can we bring them for this trip?

The official word is that the mug you buy on a certain trip, is reusable for that trip only. There is, or at least there was, signage at each resort beverage area stating that. Do people bring them back? Yes. Do they use the at different resorts than the mug was purchased at? Yes. BUT....that doesn't negate the written rule.
Be careful...this will get somewhat heated....especially now that Disney has more generic mugs.

The official policy is that the mug is good for the length of stay in which you purchased the mug.
