Resort Mugs for 2009?

Does anyone know if they're going to change the resort refillable mugs for 2009? Seems like I have started a collection, and I'd like to add to it! I'd think they could do something neat with the Celebration theme, even if it is the same mug for all resorts.

Anyone know anything? Thanks!!

No matter what happens with the mug designs the Resort counter service locations can not sell them until they are sold out of the Year of a Million Dream mugs. So those might be sold for a while even though it's ending this year, which means no one should expect to see a new mug design for sale on Janurary 1, 2009.

LOL, doesn't Disney realize we want new mug designs?? Just kidding. Hopefully they'll sell out of them by April. They have 118 days to unload those suckers!

No, not kidding here! The Year of a Million Dreams lasted a lifetime and we would love to see fresh mugs, not leftovers!

If you're hurting that much that you have to cheat to save $24.00 then don't go to WDW. Wait until you have the money to go.

I'm looking forward to new mug designs! I missed out on the resort specific mugs, and am still bummed about that. I would really like to have a new mug for my morning coffee!

I loved the different designs and had hoped to collect a lot of different ones but when you do a split stay it is really nice to be able to use the same mug.

I hope the new ones are out before our April trip!

I saw the new mug designs when I was there last week. They're very similar to the YOMD ones (as far as color scheme), except they have a color cameo-type oval with different characters in it. I saw Lady and the Tramp and Genie and Aladdin. They still had the YOMD ones at POR so I'm not sure what resort the new ones came from.

I was frustrated that we went in January 08 - and they sold us the blue mugs that said "2007" on them (small, below the logo). So - when I went in October 08 - I was excited to get my "new" mug - only to find out it was the exact same mug I got in January - but without the "2007" on it. Argh. So - when I go in January 09 - and if they have the same mugs, I will be sorely disappointed.

I LOVE buying my "new" mugs... but seriously, if it is the same as the ones I got in Jan 08 and Oct 08 - I would bring my "old" mugs. Not to "save" the $24 - but because I just don't want another of the same mug. Maybe they could sell wrist bands for those of us who don't want the same or tired mug...
