Can I use my room key to charge at counter service in the parks??

Yes. About the only places that don't take the room charges are the small food stands that only sell a limited selection (like ice cream).

Yes, at all counter service restaurants, they accept your card. Some, but not all of the cart vendors will also accept your card.

Can you also charge food and souveniors to your room at All-Star Sports as well.

How about tips at sit down or character meals? Do I need to bring some cash for tips or can I put those on my room key as well?
I've never charged on my room key before so I'm trying to get it all straight! ;)

It's just like using a charge card at any restaurant. There is a line on the bill where you can write in the tip amount, and the entire amount will be charged to your room.

and I am sure someone will know the answer, but I don't the answer.

Last time I had an UPH which was on my room key and I could charge on my room key.

This time I have an annual pass. Will I still be able to charge on my room key?

Thanks! I've been wondering this for some time.

Yes, you can charge to your room key. Disney makes it very easy for you to spend your money LOL.

Money seems to flow like water there! I really liked that feature though on my room key.

You can still charge on your room key, it doesn't matter the type of pass you are using.

I've always used my room key for charging almost exclusively. I figure it's safer than having my actual credit card number all over "the world". Be sure to check the final printout against your receipts. For the first time I had a problem when we were there last month. There was a double post on a charge from MouseGears. We checked out Friday, I didn't notice it until after we left. I called OKW's front desk on Saturday and it was taken off my charge on Tuesday.

I guess I would be worried too that all those massive, frequent charges would red flag my credit card company LOL My DH loved that feature. Not sure why, but just the other day he was talking about his room key and how much he loved it!!

I CANNOT WAIT!!!

However, I'm not sure if there's a limitation of liability if someone swipes your room card and goes on a spending spree before you notice. Most credit card issuers limit your exposure to $50 (often times nothing) as long as you report it in a timely manner.
