Resort hopping?

Hi! I'm going to Disney in 8 days and the first day I don't have a park ticket. I'll be getting there early so I have a whole day to enjoy. I usually relax by the pool first day, but, I don't know if it's going to be pool weather! I was thinking of checking out some other disney resorts and walking around, looking at the decorations, etc. Are there restrictions to enter other properties I'm not staying at due to the whole covid situation?

You might not be able to park at resorts you aren’t staying at, but if you use Disney transportation you can explore all you want

Yay! Thanks! 1 more question - are the hotels that are closed, still available for me to walk through? Eg wilderness lodge, animal kingdom, Polynesian.

Those 3 would be, as the DVC portion of those resorts are open. However the All Star properties and Port Orleans properties would be completely closed and would turn you away at the gatehouse if you’re driving (and there are no buses running there).

Best method to explore 7 resorts of all the categories is the skyliner. I did this one day and it took 3 hours to see them all. Obviously you can go slower i was basically just looking at the decor and moving on
Or you can use the monorail and boats to see the mk resorts. Just remember the poly monorail station is closed
