Yep, like I stated earlier, our ID's have been checked at the BC. No problem for us since we were guest at the resort but they do check ID's. Maybe the resorts are stricter and watch more carefully during busier times but they do check.Just curious. Has anyone ever actually had their ID checked?
I've never had the desire to pool hop, but in probably 100 visits to pools at about 6 different resorts, I've never been asked for an ID nor have I seen anyone ask for an ID.
Exactly! You knew where this was going didn't you???Oh, ye of little faith!![]()

If I'm staying at an All Star, is it Ok to pool hop after I park my car at the BW, get my mug filled at the BC and walk over to Epcot?

My family and I have been asked to show our KTTW cards at the Contemporary pool, Wilderness Lodge pool and the Volcano pool at the Polynesian when we have stayed at those Resorts.Just curious. Has anyone ever actually had their ID checked?

OF COURSE! It puts you and your car closer to Epcot! Heck, my suggestion? If you are staying offsite- simply valet your car at the grand floridian and take the monrail to MK and epcot! MUCH easier! Plus you can pool hop in the afternoon at GF for a break!![]()

Make sure to tell them that your four year old is just "large for his age" and two and that your twelve year old is ten - you'll save a lot on park tickets and buffets that way.....speaking of buffets, if you line you purse with a ziploc bag, you can probably manage to get two more meals out of it - Disney charges too much for buffets anyway - and who can afford to tip when they go to Disney? Don't bother, it really should be Disney's responsibility to pay their servers well.

ive never bothered trying to pool hop, i dont see the excitement in it, it would just take up a hugh part of the day.
but that being said, yes everytime i pull into my resort i am asked for my key to the world. i hand it to the guy and he hands it back, what he does with it, i have no idea.

so how is the pool at the caribbean anyway? kid friendly?
The main pool is being refurbished and won't be finished until mid-September. When we were there a few months ago, we barely looked at it. I think it will be awesome when it's completed. I think they moved slides to the quiet pools though, at least they were supposed to.
If the pool is down during their stay, maybe hopping is allowed for that period only.
Op-pool hopping is kind of a no no.They do check resort Ids, maybe not all the time, but they do.I Have had my resort ID checked at WL,BC, and AKL for trips during September,May, and December not on major holidays.YC/BC pool was fenced in because of all the non-resort guests flocking to that pool, and they do give out armbands. No, and please mods, close this thread for the love of all things Disney!![]()
