resort hopping to play tennis not allowed??

My girlfriend and I are staying at POR the first week of January this year and we want to play tennis as i just got a new raquet for christmas, i heard that you weren't allowed to resort hop to use their facilities?? is there another place on property that we could go to play tennis?? the raquet club? is there a charge for this? We were thinking of going over to the Yaht and Beach Club to use their courts until we realized it might not be allowed. ANy info would be appreciated!! thanks

I would double check with the resort. I know that you are not allowed to "pool hop" but every resort has a pool. Because not all resorts have tennis courts I would think that maybe you should be able to use them at another resort.
Also the Contemporary has a large tennis center. I think they may even have lessons.

Tennis courts at the Resorts:

The following resorts have lighted tennis courts on their grounds. Use of these courts is complimentary and reservations are not required. Tennis equipment is often avaliable to registered guests at no charge or for a nominal fee.

Boardwalk Inn and Boardwalk Villas
Fort Winderness Resort and Villas
Old Key West
Yacht and Beach Clubs
Dolphin and Swan

Disney's Racquet club at the Contemporary Resort: Court time costs about $15.00 per hour.
