In which order would you resort hop to visit the Disney hotels and how would you use the transport etc.

Some kind person pm`d about this last year, but due to computer failure was unable to retrieve and print out instruction before everything was deleted during the board upgrade. So if it was you a repeat of instructions would be very much appreciated. thanks ali.

the best to hop from hotel to hotel using disney transpoert is to use the buses from your resoert to MGM and use that as your hub using boat for epcot resort hotels or buses for the rest dont plan on pool hopping if your not a DVC member or checked into that resort as sometimes they as you to leve (ive seen it happen and we have been asked for our DVC id and resort id to be able to use pools)its not a problem if you are only visiting resort to look at it or go to a restorant to eat

Hi I am not staying on site, had planned to leave car at somewhere, not sure if DTD was an option but from above answer may drive to MGM and park and leave the car there as it sounds a better option. Not planning on using any of the pools, wanted to look around the hotel exclusive shops etc. thanks

You could park at the MK and then do the monorail resorts quite easily - Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary and catch the boat to the Wilderness Lodge. This would take some hours to get round them all!

Then hop on a monorail to Epcot and walk through to the International Gateway , or go back to MK and get a bus to Yacht & Beach Club / Boardwalk Inn / Swan & Dolphin and do all these resorts too. All are in walking distance of each other and Epcot or if you are feeling like letting someone else take the strain, you can catch the boat between them.

You could then catch a bus back to MK from any of these hotels to collect your car.

Would easily take a day to do the above!

I'm not sure if you are supposed to leave your car at DTD all day if you aren't shopping there, but I may be wrong.

cast menbrs have told me in the past that the busses from mgm are thr most frequent as it is more cental it would be my best bet. if you are planing on driving just go to the resort they wont stop you going in just say at the gate that you want to look at the resort shop there or eat they wont stop you less hassle they want your money if you park up at mgm $10.00 put it in the tank or use it in the shops

How would they know? There are a half a million cars there! ;)

Seriously, DH - former MK security - says they have no way of checking.

I would highly recommend taking your car from resort to resort - it will be soo much quicker. The security guards will ask - you tell them you are just visiting - they say okay - give you a piece of paper to put on your dash - park and have fun!

Tho you should park once for the MK resorts and take the monorail around - I recommend Poly cuz the guards are nicest there! ;)
