One of the things we love to do on our arrival day is resort hop. We'll be driving, so no worries about bus transportation or anything.

I'd like to get some advice for the resorts we should check out for our trip that's in about 7 weeks.

On our most recent trip, we went to Animal Kingdom Lodge, Grand Floridian, the Contemporary, Polynesian, Port Orleans Riverside/French Quarter, and Caribbean Beach.

We know we are going to Art of Animation and Beach Club for sure. We are eating at Ohana that evening as well. Any other suggestions? We'll probably get in at least 5 resorts, so probably at least two more suggestions?

Boardwalk Inn and Wilderness Lodge would be two possibilities to consider. Or Fort Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge, depending upon where you are and when you want to move.

If you would love a pool picture I would to Coronado Springs at night. To see that pool lite up at night priceless

Another vote for Wilderness Lodge. I would also walk over to Boardwalk considering you will be right next to it when you visit the Beach Club.

WL, CSR is very pretty, cool pool area and I like All Star -movies especially. The theaming of the values is really done well. AoA has some neat areas as well. They make it feel very "Disney".

We've thought about checking out some other resorts, but I wasn't sure how it worked. We will have our car too - what do you tell them at the gate? Will they just let you in to check it out or do you have to have a dining reservation?

Last month we stayed at the Marriott Village after our cruise. We drove to Port Orleans Riverside to speak to the concierge about a possible stay in November. The guard was very nice and let us in no problem. We were done with the concierge in short order so we had time to kill.

We took the bus to MK and got on a boat to Wilderness Lodge. Great ride. They finished the new 'Geyser Point Bar and Grill' and it is beautiful. Great place for a quick lunch or snack. We then took the boat back to MK, got on the monorail and went to the Contemporary. Tooled around there a bit and took the monorail back to MK. We then took the boat to the Grand Floridian. No explanation needed. From there, back on the boat to the Polynesian. Another short boat ride back to MK and the Riverside bus back. From there you could actually take the boat to Disney Springs but we were worn out. Great way to see many resorts without getting back in the car.
