Hi! I'm hoping someone can help me out. I'm trying to do some price checking and I want to go with the Magic Your Way but it doesn't seem to let you change resorts during your trip and it also doesn't seem to let you book a trip longer than 7 days. Is this right or am I doing something wrong? Also if you can't resort hop on Magic Your Way then how can you order tickets that have the dining option that the Magic Your Way tickets do? I'm very confused.

I could use this info too. I'm going in October and staying at the Contemporary for a conference and then switching to either AKL or CSR for the remainder of the time.

unfortunately, myw packages (which is the only way to get the dining option) do not allow for resort hopping... even w/in the same grade of resort... the only way to get the room/ticket/dining for two different resorts is to book two separate ressies/packages, which would mean you are buying two separate tickets, even if one is only for one day...

what you can do, if you are so inclined and plan to come back to wdw sometime in the future, is to book the myw package for resort #1 w/the ticket for the length of your entire vacation (i.e. staying at resort #1 five days, and resort #2 five days, get a 10 day myw ticket w/package #1) and then get a second 10 day myw no-expiry ticket w/package #2 and save it for your next trip... while you are spending more now, you are buying an "insurance policy" against inflation on ticket prices in the future... it's not a perfect science but it could work... esp if you are buying tix for kids under 10yo who will be 10+ when you come back in the future!

I'm not sure I really understand the question. Generally you book the room separate from the tickets, but even if you book them together as part of a package you choose the number of days that you want on the tickets - they are aren't tied down by the number of days you're staying in the resort. The Dining Option is not an add on to the tickets themselves, but rather an add-on to the package. If you're having difficulty deciphering it all on your own (which btw is normal, since it's become very confusing lately) I suggest booking through a ta that specializes in Disney. I'm partial to the board sponsors (dreamsunlimitedtravel.com) but others have had success with different tas. As long as you're not paying for their services you can't go wrong.

Good luck!

:teacher: :Pinkbounc If you call you can book upto 10 days. Like it was said before if you want to resort hop then you need different ressies for each resort and each will need the $200 deposit.
For each reservation you only need one day park tickets to make it a package. The dining has to be for each day of you reservations.
Like GIGI said if you are going down again soon her idea would be a good option. That is actually what we are thinking about doing since we are going down for 14 days and need to make 2 ressies anyways. and we want the dining option for the whole stay.
