Hi all,
My husband and I are playing hooky one day next week to spend an adults day at WDW. We've decided on no parks, and have come up with the plan below. I'm hoping to get some feedback and hear if there are things we should do that we're missing. The idea is to do all the things we cannot do with our one-year-old. Thanks!
1) 7:00 - drop daughter at daycare and get on the road (we're coming from Tampa, any info on what morning traffic on I-4 east is like would be helpful!
2) 9:00 - Wilderness Lodge Tour
3) Head over to Shades of Green for hidden Mickeys (this is the only resort we've never been to!)
4) Disney Springs for lunch at Morimoto, stroll though as many shops as hubby will allow
4) Mini golf at Fantasia Gardens (we have a rain check)
5) Afternoon drinks at Bluezoo
6) Stroll around boardwalk, probably stop at Bellevue Lounge
7) ?? We really have no idea how long all this will take. We need to drive back to Tampa that night, so would like to get on the road at a reasonable time, but wouldn't hate seeing fireworks either. Does anyone know if you can see the Star Wars fireworks at HS from the path from the Boardwalk? I doubt I'll get hubby into a park (he hates fireworks crowds), but maybe we can view from elsewhere?
Thanks for any feedback!
