Hi there! Just checking in here....I thought I was far behind, but it turns out I had only missed one update!

I hope you have a great trip! I am so bummed that I couldn't go this October. I am trying to figure out how/when I can go in 2011. Is there still a "big" DIS meet happening next December? I think I might try to surprise my daughter with a mommy/daughter trip for her 10th birthday in March. Then I'd like to go in June, October, and December, too! I am not so sure I can convince my husband that's a good idea.

Looking forward to the Facebook updates.

No, I wouldn't do that at all. Although, you may catch me talking to DISers. But then I wouldn't look like a lazy CM, I'd be one that is socializing with the guests.

I was thinking the same thing, Maybe she meant for Halloween?

I'm guessing you are waking up to a cool Kansas morning and not a warm palm tree-filled view out your window. If you had to come home, I'm glad you arrived safely. And I am glad you don't have to wait too long until your next trip. Just wash your vacation clothes and repack.

The summer trip report has slowed down and I need to kick it up and get it done!
As far as I know we are planning to have a meet next December!
I agree that June, Oct, and Dec, are great times to go!
The weather is enough to sell your husband on the idea!

Only 42 days til you're back again! and me too! I'm not counting down or anything!!! There's alot going on between now and then....Thanksgiving, getting ready for Christmas, school (I'm taking some classes and I'm ready for the semester to be over!!!!)
DH said we could take a quick weekend Jan trip for my birthday!!!! Of course, it's MLK weekend and I'm trying to find decent air.....the hazards of an AP!!!

Here's a bit of an update.

Timeshare Store had a deal I just couldn't pass up.
Sooooo.
I called.
Made an offer.
They accepted.
We are waiting on Disney to ROFR on some more points.

If they do and I think they will. We will be in a race against time to close or have some points that will need to be used by Feb. 1, 2011.
Just perfect for that January trip.

Anita, you are too funny! I want to add on and I will someday! I get those emails and dream! I would need an Oct. use year. I think you told me that they want you to have the same use year for your points, it would certainly be easier than trying to keep up with different UY!
A Jan trip would be good. You could go every month....wouldn't that be cool!

We bought more at Vero, I've been watching for Feb. there. the price is right and you can use them anywhere!
We arrive on the 19th and are going to the party that evening. We must plan to meet up! We have ADRs but besides that no real itinerary. The only thing I still want to look at is the sleigh ride on Christmas weekend.
I'm sure you have more concrete plans, I sould take a look at that!

I don't mix use years, that's a recipe for a nasty mess.
Typically we don't have much of a problem booking at 7 months out so buying at Vero isn't a problem and the price is great! Besides we want to stay there after our cruises...
So we just watch the emails from Timeshare Store and when the right one comes along that isn't stripped out, we call. They have all of our information because we are repeat customers, they put us right through to Robert and he gets the ball rolling.
One more thing.
I made an offer.
Didn't give them the asking price.
They accepted.

Really? hmmm,right now we are booked at Pop. It was only $76/night (CHEAP, couldn't pass up that rate!) cause I've used all my points and I don't want to borrow any!
