Thanks for your rankings of the DVC properties you've stayed at. How would Shocker's list differ? I really liked OKW when I stayed there a few years back and didn't have any transportation issues but sounds like we may have been lucky. Of course in my mind, NOTHING beats walking into World Showcase...

If I remember, the plastic potato head was pretty expensive....do you remember how much it was? I would love to see the pieces that are in it also! We've done a couple of the boxes and got a ton of stuff in them!

Shocker thinks my ranking is based on transportation. I'll admit that I'm not a fan of the Disney bus system.
We seem to burn lots of time on those things.
I'm not a snob about riding them, my time down there is precious to me...
I really haven't met a DVC resort I didn't like. If we had a car I would love staying at OKW and SSR especially when we couldn't use our Stormalong Bay or couldn't get into Beach Club.

I love all your Disney purchases, as always. You seem to find the best stuff!

Oh gosh that meatloaf did look yummy! I was going back and forth between the sandwich and that meatloaf...

Transportation can make or break it... my dad would stay at CSR just because we had great transportation, not too crowded buses, no waits, etc. I almost lost it in our hour plus ride from DTD to BC. DTD to Pleasure Island, Typhoon Lagoon, Dolphin and Swan stops and YC. It took forever, and I could have drove... I doubt I will make that mistake again!

Baylor and Harper have been playing with the Potato Heads. They did not dump the big plastic guy, but have been into the box that was filled at Disney. I think I got it all back in there with the exception of the Dumbo ears that you will see on one of the potatoes in the pic. Wait a minute, the Dumbo Ears didn't fit, I paid extra for them.

The main thing the CM told me was to put the shoes in the bottom of the big plastic guy. I think she said 3 or 4 pairs would fit down there, then she started stuffing eyes, ears, and other small parts in the bottom. I mean stuffing. No air in between! Tight!! Think of it as putting together a puzzle. Take your time.

The cost was $46.95 less our AP discount.
Now we got lucky because the CM gave us the premium discount of 20% off and tax exempt....
It was quite a bargain!

The next picture is the contents of the box. This is $19.99
Again with our AP discount. Again we got the premium deal so 20% off. If I had known this I would have gone for the big one again...

You will notice that I didn't purchase a potato head, big waste of space! Do that at Target or Walmart before you go to Disney....
Since we've been home this is what I've managed to collect from ebay and garage sales ...
Plus I have another tub of extra parts, some Disney and some just the regular stuff, all fun to play with!

Exactly! I love the fact that you get dropped off so close with the buses, but when you have to make so many stops, or have a long wait, it gets bad.
Sometimes however the bus can be quite entertaining!
