Torn meniscus, arthritis, and something else - something about a 'flap' of bone or tissue or something.
He told me he would NOT be able to get me to 100%, but he could get me some degree of relief. I have a dull pain rather than a sharp pain now, so it is better. What's killing me now is the plantar fasciitis in the left heel. It is painful! Between the two legs, I am the walking wounded, and I don't like it one bit.![]()
I want to get up and walk normally from morning until night, but it's just not happening. The good thing is the plantar fasciitis should heal eventually, so there is hope for a less hobbly tomorrow...someday.![]()
That's almost EXACTLY what my mom is dealing with. Torn meniscus, arthritis and there was something else going on in there too. I will have to tell her there is hope, she is feeling very discouraged. She saw her surgeon today and he told it her it would continue to get better but she really has to lose some weight, she's down in the dumps.
I have plantar fascititis and it's not pleasant at all!! Something that helped mine was at Walmart they sell this little band that you wear around your arch, it really helped mine to start feeling better. Plus it was under $5 so it was worth it to me to try.
So glad Wigd is doing well!!
